A Day in the Life Of

At first, I was unsure of how photographers took good photographs. I believed that most were set-up or framed. I began by asking people to pose for the photo and trying to get a particular kind of shot. However, as the project went on, I discovered that the best of my photos were ones that were taken in the moment. After realizing this, I sought out more experiences where I could take natural photos that were interesting. Rather than creating the scene, I sought to capture an ongoing scene. This is the basis of my photographs, and most of that ideology ended up in the album.

This is a polar bear at the Saint Louis Zoo. Prior to the photo, it was going for a swim in front of a large crowd of people. One of the children managed to get a high five out of it.
