Like him or not, Kendrick Lamar has a place in the long list of influential rappers. Yes, the rapper who mentions “n—-” a lot, like the “bad black boy”(view of the typical African American kid who says n—- a lot and behaves badly) and wears a stereotypical hairstyle for African American Rappers. What next? More profanity? But the viewers are quite impressed. And since he has been skyrocketing in terms of his revenue and popularity. With that, he has money to live comfortably.

Kendrick Lamar wasn’t him now. He was born Kendrick Lamar Duckworth, and has not really been stained with drug issues as a child, unlike 50 Cent, with his cocaine. But he has tried cannabis, but quit, saying it wasn’t “holy”.(Has been a devout Christian since the death of a friend).  He began rapping in 2010.

The albums Kendrick Lamar has made are numerous, but a few to name are DNA, Humble, and Love. He has been rapping since 2010 under the stage name K-Dot. Since then, he has risen massively, won 12 Grammys and many more awards, music or non-music, such as giving back to the community.

What’s good is his style, which is smooth and describes it while conveying a very good message. Also, he has four star ratings, and the songs actually tell us what he wants to tell us about, which his songs tell the message about black empowerment, racism, and injustice. The main stuff everyone doesn’t like in most albums is, one he mentions the n—- word a lot, often has inappropriate details, like women that are semi-nude. If someone has a big problem with the n-word or nude women, DON’T play it. Kendrick Lamar is very similar to Jay Z, the famous rapper with a history of the N— word, rich, and of course, used to do drugs. If you like Rap, hip hop, or wouldn’t be sensitive to racism, you’ll like this. The songs, as obvious were made to bring in cash and make him #1 on music charts worldwide. SO far, it has been very effective, bringing in millions of dollars, putting him at the charts, and it is worth anyone’s time and money despite the big issues with the n-word and inappropriate details.
