As I walk in, I smell the sweet smell of ice cream and the fresh smell of ingredients. Before the building was ROLLIPOP it was a Dairy Queen. The inside had white brick walls and there are stools for people to sit on. ROLLIPOP is a new ice cream place that makes ice cream but rools it up and served in a bowl. There are 10 Flavors and over 10 toppings.
I went with a friend and I ordered Strawberry shortcake. They first cleaned the area, and the first put one strawberry chopped it up into very fine pieces, next the put some sort of liquid to turn it into the ice cream. Then they took one graham cracker and finely chopped it up into fine paste. The they spread the icecream out into a square, and the roll up the ice cream. I got to put on three toppings, and i asked for whipped cream, chocolate chips, and strawberries. I took a bit and it tasted exactly like strawberry Ice Cream.
The one thing that i didn’t really like was that the place was very small, and it filled up with people very quickly, I would say the shouldve found a bigger place, or in the future find a bigger place. Also more Workers, because the place filled up so quickly, there was a long line, and the people working also were the ones making the rolled ice cream for the people who came before the ones in line.
The Ice Cream tasted the same as regular ice cream, it was just a little more sweet, but it was very light and creamy. If you were to compare it to regular ice cream, I would say like dairy queen ice cream is more like heavy, and dense with milk and ice cream ingredients. If you like ice cream you’ll like ROLLIPOP.
