  • Step 1)  Make your smoothie Base
    • For a thicker smoothie, incorporate more frozen ingredients and less liquid
    • Use a blender or if you want an ice cream consistency a food processor also works
    • An example for a base would be 1 cup of frozen strawberries, ¼ of raspberries, one banana, and a cup of almond milk
  • Step 2)Add Fresh toppings
    • Pour your smoothie base into a bowl and add fresh fruit and vegetable toppings
    • Place your favorite fresh fruits in a column/linear pattern on top of your smoothie base: repeat this process with your vegetables (if you choose to add them)
    • An example for what to incorporate could be sliced strawberries, spinach leaves, or pineapple
  • Step 3)Add dry toppings
    • Select your favorite dry toppings for your smoothie bowl
    • Arrange your dry toppings into a linear pattern like you did with your fresh toppings
    • An Example for a dry topping would be nuts, seeds, and granola
  • Step 4)Add Sauce
    • Select a sweet sauce like chocolate syrup maple syrup or a nut butter like almond butter and drizzle it onto your smoothie bowl
