Daniel Song’s Photo Portfolio
January 30, 2017
Believe me on this: Before this unit, I thought being a good photographer was just as easy as taking a picture, adding a filter, and then sending it off for others to see. Well, of course, I was wrong. Right from the start, I was filled with information of intricate details on taking pictures and as we kept going from day to day, I kept progressing. My skills as a photographer gradually grew and they have grown to the point today where I can present my own gallery to you, the reader. This did not mean it was an easy road as we were challenged from the beginning to get out of our comfort zones. I really felt like a fool at first; walking around with a camera thinking that hundreds of pairs of eyes were locked on to me but after receiving the tip of “acting confident no matter what,” it became easier for me. I was then able to capture some eventful pictures without my awkwardness getting in the way and the outcome of the pictures have really have made me appreciate the photos all the photos other photographers have taken over the course of their lifetime. I hope you enjoy!
