When I first heard about this project, I was really enthusiastic about it. I thought taking pictures would put me in an artistic mindset, and I could get some creative shots. However, I soon realized that my artistic self lies deep within me, and was not always available. What I thought would be an easy picture, turned into me taking 20 or more, just to get one that would work. Going into the gymnastics meet, I was expecting really good pictures, in focus, using a fast shutter speed. Only after my first few pictures coming out black, did it become clear that I had no idea how to take a good picture. Taking pictures really taught me a lot about how to get a good perspective, and to always be looking for a good shot. I think I enjoyed taking pictures outside the most, because there is always something in nature, in any season that can be photographed, good photographer or not.
