Since a young age, I’ve always enjoyed art, so naturally, I was excited to try photography as my next form of art. Although I don’t have any experience with photography outside of taking photos of random things on my phone, I really enjoyed this project. That being said, this project also worried me more than I like to admit. Since I have no experience, I wasn’t sure what to make my focus for the photos, and I was unsure I would be able to take photos as amazing as I know many of my peers can. Despite all of that, I used my artistic background to guide me through this project and take photos that I wanted to take. Embracing the idea of different artistic outlets, I decided to make art the focus of both my free form and my event photos, including physical art like clay and fabric, dance, and the more common pencil-on-paper artwork.
