Upon the announcement of this unit, I was ecstatic. Though I never saw it as a strength of mine, I’ve always enjoyed taking photos. However, throughout the course of this unit, I developed further understanding of how to capture a moment forever. Aperture, shutter speed, and ISO balance were several things that led to a good photo, but an even better attribute was the stories behind these photos. Several people I took photos of even wanted me to send them the photos, and gave me their contact information. Learning about their lives and experiences was an absolute joy for me, and made taking photos extremely worthwhile. Overall, this has been one of my favorite units so far and I look forward to further developing my skills.
