Before the photography unit I had little to no photography experience and I didn’t think I’d particularly enjoy it. However, this unit has helped me realize that I really like taking photos. I’ve learned that photography isn’t just about taking a single shot in the right place at the right time. It’s all about changing angles and lighting and positions and taking hundreds of pictures until you get the perfect one. Through exploring new techniques and methods like adjusting the aperture and shutter-speed of a camera to give photos a different feel, I also learned how to have more control over the way my photos turned out. Although I am still just a beginner and am easily confused by all the setting and buttons on a camera, photography is something that I hope to do more of in the future.
