I’ve enjoyed photography for most of my life, so an excuse to go around and just take pictures was really fun for me. Going around downtown with my sister (Alina Davis 21′) was so fun despite the horrendous cold weather. My Event was West highs first show choir competition in Waukee Iowa. Scotty the turtle was a hit with all of the dancers and band members, he was even stolen halfway through the shoot! Over all most of my pictures are taken with a large aperture with one thing focused in the picture, I prefer this style because you can have subtle or popping focal points and have a busy background while still being able to focus on the most important details in the picture.
