After the West High show choirs’ open rehearsal on January 23rd, Alyssa Hagiwara ‘23 hangs up her Showtime jersey. “I love being in Showtime because I get to do the three things I love most: singing, dancing, and being with my amazing friends,” she says. (Feature)

Before this unit, I really didn’t know how to feel about photography. I was excited to experiment with finding different angles and figuring out how to capture the moment at the perfect time. Once we started, I was nervous because I felt like I didn’t have much experience and felt as though I couldn’t pull off being a photographer. When taking photos at my event, I felt out of place until I remembered that I just had to fake it until I made it. Overall, I really enjoyed this unit and I liked getting to see the world through a lens.
