Rosemary Timmer-Hackert’s Photo Gallery

Sachiko Goto ’23 tries to capture a slow shutter speed photo of the cars outside The Chauncey on January 22, 2020. Featured Photo.

Though this winter has been full of bitter winds and thick layers of ice coating every available surface, there is still so much beauty to be found in the world around us. That is the lesson I learned whilst trying to capture photos for this gallery. The winter can be a depressing time. Each morning we wake up and trudge towards school with white skies above us, white snow underneath our feet, and nothing but dull brown trees in between. I hope my photo gallery will remind you of all the beauty that still exists in the world during these months if you only try to look for it.
