On Saturday January 12th, I went to my boxing practice as usual. I decided to do a distance drill with one of my fellow team members, who was a few weight classes above me. I wasn’t guarding my head, because we were told to not do head shots. That was a bad idea and as a result I got hit in the head. I was left with a concussion and a month later I’m still not 100% better. These photos reflect my recovery experience and what it was like to live with a concussion.
